The cable is equipped with a three-pin XLR male connector and a three-pin XLR female connector, which impress with numerous advantageous features. Corrosion-resistant gold-plated contacts ensure permanently good signal transmission and high mating cycles, while the novel True Mold Technology presents an extremely durable and the most effective strain relief to date. Plug and cable are fused together here and due to the conical design a particularly gentle construction. The integrated design results in a smoothly running cable outlet and fewer fragile points. The risk of damage due to mechanical stress is significantly reduced in this way, while protection against water and dust is increased. This groundbreaking technology means that nothing stands in the way of more movement-intensive stage shows.
A shielded pair of oxygen-free copper strands with 2x 0.22 mm² conductor cross-section and an inner conductor with optical coverage of 98 % reliably repel interference signals from outside. The symmetrical signal routing also enables undistorted signal transmission over longer distances.
Balanced transmission is used in professional applications, such as in recording studios, because it ensures freedom from interference even over longer distances. These cables have an additional useful signal-carrying conductor through which the same voltage is sent, but whose oscillations are mirror-inverted. Any interference thus has an even effect on the signal conductors. Since the useful signal consists of opposite-pole voltage values, the interference is practically cancelled out by difference formation.
